What's Stitch Fix's exchange policy?
We offer exchanges for:
- Different sizes or colours (when possible) for items in your shipment.
- Replacements for damaged items.
We don’t offer exchanges for:
- A different style or item.
How do I exchange something?
You can request an exchange using the ‘Exchange option’ when you checkout. If you've already checked out and need to exchange something you’ve already paid for, please so we can help you out.
What if the size I want isn’t available?
You can check back later on to see if it has become available. If not, please make sure to leave a note for your stylist about the fit of each item so that they can keep an eye out for it when styling your next delivery.
When will I be charged for the exchanged item?
You’ll be charged for just the exchange during your checkout.
How are my items shipped?
Exchanges are shipped via your preferred carrier listed on your account. If you’re exchanging more than one item, they will be delivered separately. You will also receive separate emails for each exchange with different tracking information.
What do I do with my original item(s)?
Send back the item(s) you wish to exchange along, with any other returns, using the prepaid postage label included in your Fix. If you no longer have the returns label, for a new one.
If you’d like to compare sizes, just extend your try-on window before you check out for your Fix, then hold onto the original item unit you’ve decided which size you prefer. If you decide to keep the original item please let us know, so we can ensure that your account is up to date.
Make sure to keep your proof of postage for the returns, and hold onto it until they’ve been processed in our warehouse.
What if the exchanged item arrives and it doesn’t fit?
If you’re not completely satisfied with your exchanged item, simply send it back with any other items you’re returning. If you no longer have a returns label, there are numerous options available. Check out our Returns page for more information.
